Hi, my name is Adalberto Alguero.
My brother in-law bought the puzzle and
sent it to me here in Panama.
I completed the puzzle in about 7 months by myself, I am a Professor at the
University of Panama and in my spare time, about 500 hours and a lot of
patience, I finished it two days ago. So .. from October 2007 to April 2008.
Here are some photos .. just have to frame it all. I had to do it in sections
because of space limitations. I completed twelve sections each on a piece
of 1 inch foam covered with brown paper to avoid sliding.
It was one of my best life experiences and I enjoyed it very much..
I am going to frame the puzzle as soon as possible and have it probably
placed on the largest mall here in Panama so that many people can
appreciate
this work of art. Maybe sometime next year I will put it in a Museum of
Nature where all the children from school can see it.
Let`s see if you can produce a 50,000 piece, probably it would take at
least two years or more to complete! Thanks.
